Configure Route Advertisement on the Management Port
Configure route advertisement in IPv6 on the management port for neighbor discovery (ND).

Note
This procedure supports Layer 2 or Layer 3 route advertisement on VSP 8600 Series only.

Variable definitions
Use the data in the following table to use the ipv6 nd command.

| dad-ns <0–600> | Specifies the number of neighbor solicitation messages for duplicate address detection (DAD). A value of 0 disables the DAD process on this interface. A value of 1 sends one advertisement without retransmissions. The default is 1. | 
| hop-limit <0–255> | Specifies the current hop limit field sent in router advertisements from this interface. The value must be the current diameter of the Internet. A value of zero indicates that the advertisement does not specify a hop-limit value. The default is 64. |
