Configuring the Dynamic Hostname Feature

Dynamic Hostname introduces the dynamic hostname feature, which causes text names to replace numbers in some logs.

To enable the dynamic hostname feature, use the following command:
enable isis area area_name dynamic-hostname [area-name | snmp-name]
To disable the dynamic hostname feature, use the following command:
disable isis area area_name dynamic-hostname
