Configuring EVPN

To configure EVPN:
  1. Configure underlay L3 network (see BGP and OSPF).
  2. Configure tenant VLANs and virtual-networks (see VXLAN).
  3. Enable L2VPN-EVPN capability (see Sending/Receiving Routes).
  4. If manual route targets (RTs) are required (see Applying Manual Route Targets to EVPN Instances):
    1. Create EVPN instances.
    2. Configure EVPN instances.
  5. If eBGP is used, set next-hop-unchanged for L2VPN-EVPN routes (see Enabling/disabling Next-Hop Unchanged Behavior).

BGP Auto-peering (see BGP Auto-peering) automates most of the above steps. If you are using BGP Auto-peering, only Step 2 and configuring LTEP IP are required
