CLI Overview

The CLI is used for configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the network. The user interface allows you to execute commands on supported wireless controllers, service and virtual platforms, and APs, using either a serial console or a remote access method.

This chapter describes basic CLI features. Topics covered include an introduction to command modes, navigation and editing features, help features and command history.

You can access the CLI by first connecting to the device using either of the following methods, and then logging in to the controller.
