application

Creates a new application definition and enters its configuration mode. Use this command to create a customized application detection definition.

Note

The WiNG 7.1.X release does not support DPI (application visibility) on AP5XX model access points.

Syntax

application <APPLICATION-NAME>

Parameters

application <APPLICATION-NAME>


application <APPLICATION-NAME>	Creates a new application definition and enters its configuration mode <APPLICATION-NAME> – Specify a name of the new application definition. It is created if not already existing in the system.
