configure eaps multicast temporary-flooding duration seconds

Description

Configures the duration for which the switch temporarily enables multicast flooding when an EAPS (Extreme Automatic Protection Switching) topology change occurs.

Syntax Description

seconds Specifies the period (in seconds) for which the switch enables multicast flooding.

Default

15 seconds.

Usage Guidelines

The flooding duration configuration applies only when the temporary-flooding feature is enabled with the following command:

configure eaps multicast temporary-flooding

Example

The following command configures the temporary-flooding feature duration for 30 seconds:

configure eaps multicast temporary-flooding duration 30
