configure eaps multicast temporary-flooding duration
Description
Configures the duration for which the switch temporarily enables multicast flooding when an EAPS (Extreme Automatic Protection Switching) topology change occurs.
Syntax Description
seconds | Specifies the period (in seconds) for which the switch enables multicast flooding. |
Default
15 seconds.
Usage Guidelines
The flooding duration configuration applies only when the temporary-flooding feature is enabled with the following command:
configure eaps multicast temporary-floodingExample
The following command configures the temporary-flooding feature duration for 30 seconds:
configure eaps multicast temporary-flooding duration 30
