show dos-protect {detail}

Description

Displays DoS protection configuration and state.

Syntax Description

detail Specifies to display statistics in addition to configuration and state.

Default

N/A.

Usage Guidelines

Use this command to display the DoS protection settings. Using the detail option will also display the following cumulative statistics:
  • trusted.

  • notify.

  • alerts.

Example

The following command displays the DoS protection settings for the switch:

show dos-protect

The following is sample output from this command:

dos-protect is disabled
dos-protect settings:
interval:         1  (measurement interval secs)
acl expire time:  5  (secs)
trusted ports:
no trusted ports configured
type L3-Protect:
notify threshold:   3500  (level to log a message)
alert threshold:    4000  (level to generate an ACL)

The following command displays detailed DoS protection settings for the switch:

show dos-protect detail

The following is sample output from this command:

dos-protect is enabled
dos-protect settings:
