create mpls rsvp-te path path_name

Description

Creates an RSVP-TE routed path resource.

Syntax Description

path_name Identifies the path within the switch. The character string must begin with an alphabetic character, and may contain up to 31 additional alphanumeric characters.

Usage Guidelines

This command creates an RSVP-TE path resource.

The path_name parameter must begin with an alphabetical character and may contain alphanumeric characters and underscores (_), but it cannot contain spaces. The maximum allowed length for a name is 32 characters. For name creation guidelines and a list of reserved names, see Object Names.

The maximum number of configurable paths is 255.

Note

The RSVP-TE LSP is not signaled along the path until an LSP is created and then configured with the specified path_name.
