Enables LDP for the switch.
This command has no arguments or variables.
Disabled.
When LDP is enabled, LDP attempts to establish peer sessions with neighboring routers on VLAN (Virtual LAN) interfaces where LDP has been enabled . Once a peer session is established, LDP can advertise labels for local IP interfaces and for routes learned from other neighboring routers. While LDP is transitioning to the enabled state, only the MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) show commands are accepted.
Note that the LDP protocol must be enabled to establish VPLS pseudo-wires even if the transport LSPs are being established using RSVP-TE.
The following command globally enables LDP on the switch:
enable mpls protocol ldp
This command was first available in ExtremeXOS 11.6.
This command is available only on the platforms that support MPLS as described in the ExtremeXOS 22.2 Feature License Requirements document.
