Description
Creates and sends an SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) trap containing the information defined in the command.
Syntax Description
severity | Specifies one of the eight severity levels defined in the ExtremeXOS software. Enter one of the following values: critical, error, warning, notice, info, debug-summary, debug-verbose, debug-data. |
EventName | Specifies the event name. Enter a name using alphanumeric characters. |
msg | Specifies a message. Enter the message using alphanumeric characters. |

The following example sends a trap of severity info for event AAA with the message user XYZ logged in:
