The following topics apply to Extreme Networks 5420 Series and 5520 Series hardware. Because the 5420 Series and 5520 Series hardware support more than one Network Operating System (NOS) personality, they use a licensing scheme that is NOS agnostic.
The license file name must meet the following requirements:
Maximum of 63 alphanumeric characters
No spaces or special characters allowed
Underscore (_) is allowed
The file extension is .lic.
