Create an OSPF Interface on a CLIP

This procedure only applies to the VSP 8600 Series.

Configure the OSPF protocol on an IPv6 interface to support dynamic routing on the interface. Perform this procedure to create an OSPFv3 interface on a circuitless IP (CLIP).

Before you begin

The CLIP interface must exist.

Procedure

In the navigation pane, expand the Configuration > IPv6 folders.
Select OSPFv3.
Select the Interfaces tab.
Select Insert.
Select IPv6 Interfaces.
Select the index associated to a CLIP interface, then select Ok.
Select enabled from AdminStat.
Select Insert.
