Globally enabling EAP on the device

Enable EAP globally on the switch before you enable it on a port or interface.

Procedure

  1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

  2. Globally configure EAP:

    eapol enable

Example

Enable EAP globally:

Switch:1> enable
Switch:1#config t
Switch:1(config)#eapol enable
