Configuring an ACE IPv6 next header

Configure ACE IPv6 next header entries to have the filter look for specific next headers.

Before you begin

  • The ACL exists.

  • The ACE exists.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, expand the following folders: Configuration > Security > Data Path.
  2. Click Advanced Filters (ACE/ACLs).
  3. Click the ACL tab.
  4. Select the appropriate ACL.
  5. Click ACE.
  6. Select the appropriate ACE.
  7. Click IPv6.
  8. Click the Next Hdr tab.
  9. Click Insert.
  10. In the Oper field, select the operation type.
  11. In the NextHdr field, select the next header type.
  12. Click Insert.

Name

Description

AclId

Specifies the ACL ID.

AceId

Specifies the ACE ID.

Oper

The eq parameter specifies an operator for an “equal to” field match condition.

NextHdr

Specifies the next header of the IPv6 header. Specifies hop-by-hop, tcp, udp, routing, fragment, ipsecESP, ipsecAH, icmpv6, noNxtHdr, or undefined.
