Enable the Locator LED

This procedure only applies to 5420 Series, 5520 Series, and VSP 4900 Series.

About this task

Perform this procedure to turn the system Locator LED on to provide a visual identification of a specific switch.

Procedure

  1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

  2. Enable the system Locator LED:

    sys locator-led

  3. Display the system Locator LED status:

    show sys locator-led
