Configuring a static foreign source globally
Configure a static foreign source on the global router. Configuration is done at the Controller.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Click SPB-PIM-GW.
- Click the Controller-Foreign-Source tab.
- Click Insert.
- In the SourceAddress box, type the multicast foreign source IP address.
- In the GroupAddress box, type the group IP address.
- Click Insert.

Specifies the multicast group IP address associated with the foreign source. |

GatewaySysId |
Displays the system ID of the node selected as the Gateway for this foreign source. GatewaySysId field will have a valid value if the Gateway is assigned to a source. If the Gateway is not assigned to a source the value is 0. |

GatewayHostName |
Displays the host name of the node selected as the Gateway for this foreign source. GatewayHostName field will have valid values if the Gateway is assigned to a source. If the Gateway is not assigned to a source the value is NULL. |

Displays the owner type for this source. |

Displays the IP address of the MSDP peer if the foreign source is MSDP. |
