Configuring the MLD robustness

About this task

The robustness value allows the tuning for the expected packet loss on a link. If a link expects packet loss, increase the robustness variable value.

Procedure

  1. Enter Interface Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

interface GigabitEthernet {slot/port[/sub-port][-slot/port[/sub-port]][,...]} or interface vlan <1–4059>

    Note

    Note

If the platform supports channelization and the port is channelized, you must also specify the sub-port in the format slot/port/sub-port.

  2. Configure the MLD robustness:

    ipv6 mld robust-value <2-255>

  3. Set the MLD robustness to its default value:

    default ipv6 mld robust-value
