Viewing the IGMP router source list

View the source list entries corresponding to each interface and multicast group pair on a router.

About this task

You can view IGMP information on a VRF instance the same way you view the Global Router except that you must first launch the appropriate VRF context.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand the following folders: Configuration > IP.
  2. Click IGMP.
  3. Click the Igmp Router Source List tab to view the IGMPv3 cache information.

Name

Description

GroupAddress

Specifies the IP multicast group address for which this entry contains information.

IfIndex

Specifies the interface for which this entry contains information for an IP multicast group address.

InPort

Specifies a unique value to identify a physical interface or a logical interface (VLAN), which has received Group reports for this source.

HostAddress

Specifies the host address to which this entry corresponds.

MemberAddress

Specifies the IP Address of a member that has sent source specific report wishing to join this source.

Expire

This value indicates the relevance of the source list entry, where a non-zero value indicates this is an INCLUDE state value, and a zero value indicates this to be an EXCLUDE state value.

Mode

Specifies the current member state, applicable to IGMPv3-compatible nodes. The value indicates whether the state is INCLUDE or EXCLUDE.

MemberExpire

This value indicates the time until the member for this source expires.
