Creating static ARP entries

About this task

Use the following procedure to create a static ARP entry.

Note

Static multicast ARP entries are not supported for NLB Unicast or NLB Multicast operations.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation tree, expand the following folders: Configuration > IP.
  2. Click IP.
  3. Click the ARP tab.
  4. Click Insert.
  5. In the NetAddress field, type the IP address.
  6. Click Port.

    OR

    Click Port in VLAN

  7. In the dialog box, select the interface.
  8. Click OK.
  9. In the PhysAddress field, type the MAC address.
  10. Click Insert.
