Configure Power to Module Slots

About this task

Use this procedure to control whether to supply power to specific slots. By default, power is available to all slots.

This procedure only applies to VSP 8400 Series.

Procedure

  1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

  2. Enable power to one or more slots:

    sys power slot {slot[-slot][,...]}

Variable Definitions

The following table defines parameters for the sys power slot command.

Variable

Value

{slot[-slot][,...]}

Identifies the slot in one of the following formats: a single slot (1), a range of slots (1–3), or a series of slots (1,2,4). The default is to provide power to all slots.
