date

Use the date command to set the system date. The Network Time Protocol must be disabled before this command can be used. For more information, see ntp.

date dd:mm:yyyy

Parameters

`dd`	Specifies the day
`mm`	Specifies the month
`yyyy`	Specifies the year

Example

The following example sets the date to January 17, 2099:
