deadinterval

Use the deadinterval command to set the amount of time the OSPF protocol will wait for a response before assuming peer devices are unreachable.

deadinterval 1-65535

Parameters

1-65535

Specifies the time interval (in seconds) the OSPF protocol will wait for a response

Examples

The following example sets the time to wait for a packet response to 300 seconds:

EWC.extremenetworks.com:ip:ospf:ospfinterface:top1# deadinterval 300
