Use the minpasswdlength command, within context wlan:<WLAN-service-name>:auth:captiveportal, to set the minimum acceptable character length for the password for the guest portal access account.
After you run the minpasswdlength command, run the apply command to implement the changes.
| length | Specifies the minimum acceptable character length for the guest portal access account password. Length can range from 1 to 32 characters. |
The guestportal authentication mode must be set for this command to be available. For more information, see mode.
The following example sets the minimum length for the guest portal access account password to 12 characters:
EWC.extremenetworks.com:wlans:CNL-CP:auth:captiveportal# minpasswdlength 12 EWC.extremenetworks.com:wlans:CNL-CP:auth:captiveportal# apply EWC.extremenetworks.com:wlans:CNL-CP:auth:captiveportal# show minpasswdlength minpasswdlength 12
