Use the role command to configure the role of the Wireless AP — access point or sensor. The role command is accessible from the ap:<serial> context of the CLI.
| ap | sensor | Specifies the role of the Wireless AP — access point or sensor. |
The following example sets the role of the AP to sensor:
EWC.extremenetworks.com:ap:0409920201202222# role sensor
Note
This example is only applicable to ap26xx and ap36xx APs, provided a sensor image is configured using the copy sensor command in the main context.
