Configure IPv6 Static Routes for a Management VLAN

This procedure does not apply to VSP 8600 Series.
Use this task to configure static routes for the management VLAN.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
 - Expand Mgmt Instance.
 - Select Mgmt.
 - Select the Ipv6StaticRoute tab.
 - Select Insert.
 - For the Instance, select vlan.
 - Type the destination IPv6 address and prefix length.
 - Type the next hop IPv6 address.
 - Type a metric value.
 - Select Insert.

 Specifies the static route cost. The default is 200. The management CLIP uses an internal static route with a weight of 100. If you use both CLIP and VLAN and need to force all default traffic out the management VLAN interface, configure a default static route with a weight lower than 100.  |
