Enabling the Controller

Enable the Controller globally.

Procedure

Enter IS-IS Router Configuration mode:

enable

configure terminal

router isis
Enable the Controller globally:

spbm <1-100> multicast spb-pim-gw controller enable

Switch:1>enable

Switch:1#configure terminal

Switch:1(config)#router isis

Switch:1(config-isis)#spbm 1 multicast spb-pim-gw controller enable

The following table defines parameters for the spb command.


Variable	Value
`<1-100>`	Specifies the isis spbm instance-id to create the spbm instance.
controller `enable`	Enables the SPB-PIM Gateway Controller.
