Interface Counters field descriptions
Use the data in the following table to use the Interface Counters tab.
Name |
Description |
---|---|
Index |
Shows a unique value identifying the IS-IS interface. |
Level |
Shows the type of circuit that discovered the interface counters. The point to point Hello PDU includes both L1 and L2, and IS from a single adjacency on point to point links, therefore combining counts on point to point links into one group. |
AdjChanges |
Shows the number of times an adjacency state change has occurred on this circuit. |
InitFails |
Shows the number of times initialization of this circuit has failed. This counts events such as PPP NCP failures. Failures to form an adjacency are counted by isisCircRejAdjs. |
RejAdjs |
Shows the number of times an adjacency has been rejected on this circuit. |
IDFieldLenMismatches |
Shows the number of times an IS-IS control PDU with an ID field length different to that for this system has been received. |
MaxAreaAddrMismatches |
Shows the number of times an IS-IS control PDU with a max area address field different to that for this system has been received. |
AuthFails |
Shows the number of times an IS-IS control PDU with the correct auth type has failed to pass authentication validation. |
LANDesISChanges |
Shows the number of times the Designated IS has changed on this circuit at this level. If the circuit is point to point, this count is zero. |
