excluded-address (dhcpv4-pool-config)

Identifies a single IP address or a range of IP addresses, included in the DHCP address pool, that cannot be assigned to clients by the DHCP server

Parameters

excluded-address <IP>


<IP>	Adds a single IP address to the exclude address list

excluded-address <HOST-ALIAS-NAME>


<HOST-ALIAS-NAME>	Adds a host alias. The host alias is mapped to a host‘s IP address. The host identified by the host alias is added to the excluded address list. The host alias should be existing and configured. Note: A network host alias maps a name to a single network host. For example, ‘alias host $HOST 1.1.1.100‘. In this example the host alias is ‘$HOST‘ and it maps to a single host ‘1.1.1.100‘. For more information, see alias.

excluded-address [<START-IP>|<START-HOST-ALIAS-NAME>] [<END-IP>|<END-HOST-ALIAS-NAME>]


range [<START-IP>\| <START-HOST-ALIAS- NAME>] [<END-IP>\| <END-HOST-ALIAS- NAME>]	Adds a range of IP addresses to the excluded address list. Use one of the following options to provide the first IP address in the range: <START-IP> – Specifies the first IP address in the range <START-HOST-ALIAS-NAME> – Specifies a host alias, mapped to the first IP address in the range Use one of the following options to provide the last IP address in the range: <END-IP> – Specifies the last IP address in the range <END-HOST-ALIAS-NAME> – Specifies a host alias, mapped to the last IP address in the range The host aliases should be existing and configured.
