Configures IP DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) to 802.1p priority mapping for untagged frames

Service Platforms: NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600
Virtual Platforms: CX9000, VX9000

Syntax

dscp-mapping <WORD> priority <0-7>

Parameters

dscp-mapping <word> priority <0-7>


<WORD>	Specifies the DSCP value of a received IP packet. This could be a single value or a list. For example, 10-20, 25, 30-35.
priority <0-7>	Specifies the 802.1p priority to use for a packet if untagged. The priority is set on a scale of 0 - 7. The priority values are: 0 – Best effort 1 – Background 2 – Spare 3 – Excellent effort 4 – Controlled load 5 – Video 6 – Voice 7 – Network control Note: The specified 802.1p priority value is added as a 3-bit IP precedence value in the Type of Service (ToS) field of the IP header used to set the priority. Up to 64 entries are permitted.
