netbios-node-type (dhcpv4-pool-static-binding)

Configures different predefined NetBIOS node types. The NetBIOS node defines the way a device resolves NetBIOS names to IP addresses.

Supported on the following devices:

Access Points: AP5010, AP310i/e, AP410i/e, AP505i, AP510i, AP510e, AP560i, AP6522, AP6562, AP7161, AP7502, AP7522, AP7532, AP7562, AP7602, AP7612, AP7622, AP763, AP7662, AP8163, AP8543, AP8533.
Service Platforms: NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600
Virtual Platforms: CX9000, VX9000

Syntax

netbios-node-type [b-node|h-mode|m-node|p-node]

Parameters

netbios-node-type [b-node|h-node|m-node|p-node]


[b-node\|h-node\|m-node\| p-node]	Defines the netbios node type b-node – Sets the node type as broadcast. Uses broadcasts to query nodes on the network for the owner of a NetBIOS name. h-node – Sets the node type as hybrid. Uses a combination of two or more nodes. m-node – Sets the node type as mixed. A mixed node uses broadcasted queries to find a node, and failing that, queries a known p-node name server for the address. p-node – Sets the node type as peer-to-peer. Uses directed calls to communicate with a known NetBIOS name server (such as a WINS server), for the IP address of a NetBIOS machine.
