application
Creates a new
application definition and enters its configuration mode. Use this command
to create a customized application detection definition. Note
The WiNG 7.1.X release
does not support DPI (application visibility) on AP5XX model access
points.
Supported on the following
platforms:

AP7161, AP7502, AP7522, AP7532, AP7562, AP7602, AP7612, AP7622, AP763, AP7662,
AP8163, AP8543, AP8533
- Service Platforms —
NX5500, NX7500, NX9500, NX9600

application <APPLICATION-NAME>

application <APPLICATION-NAME> |
Creates a new application definition and enters its
configuration mode
- <APPLICATION-NAME> – Specify a name of the new application definition. It
is created if not already existing in the system.
