Use this command to set the percentage of total power available that a chassis can use from the total power detected.
| max-percentage | Specifies the maximum PoE power available to this chassis as a percentage of the total installed PoE power. Valid values are 0–100. |

If the total power wattage value set with the set inlinepower assigned command (set inlinepower assigned) is greater than the maximum power percentage specified with this command, a warning will display.
This example shows how to set the maximum inline power available to the chassis to 70 percent:
