set port trap

Use this command to enable or disable ports for sending SNMP trap messages when their link status changes.

Syntax

set port trap port-string {enable | disable}

Parameters

port-string Specifies the port(s) for which to enable or disable link trap messages.
enable | disable Enables or disables link traps.

Defaults

None.

Mode

All command modes.

Example

This example shows how to disable link traps for slot 3, port 3:

System(rw)->set port trap ge.3.3 disable
