set ip dns timeout

Use this command to set the number of seconds before a DNS request is retried when the DNS server fails to respond.

Syntax

set ip dns timeout seconds

Parameters

seconds Specifies the number of seconds to wait before a DNS request is retried when the DNS server fails to respond. Valid values: 1 - 100 seconds. Default value: 10 seconds.

Defaults

None.
