Configure Multi-area SPB Layer 3 Static I-SID Routed Multicast Redistribution Policy in Remote Area

About this task

Perform this procedure to configure Multi-area SPB Layer 3 static I-SID routed multicast redistribution policy in the remote area.

Note

Routed multicast redistribution is available for IPv4 only. With the MAC learning disabled, the static data I-SID multicast redistribution policy takes precedence over the Layer 2 multicast redistribution.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane, expand the Configuration > Fabric.
  2. Select MultiArea.
  3. Select the L3 MC Redist Remote Static ISID List tab.
  4. Select Insert.
  5. In the Type field, select staticisid.
  6. Select Enable.
  7. In the IsidListName field, type the name of the I-SID list.
  8. In the Apply field, select apply.
  9. Select Insert.
