Configure Maximum MAC Clients on Auto-sense Ports

About this task

Use this procedure to configure the maximum EAP and NEAP MAC clients supported on Auto-sense enabled ports.

Note

If you manually configure values on a specific port(s), then these values will take precedence over the Auto-sense global values.

1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

   enable

   configure terminal

2. Configure the maximum limit of allowed EAP and NEAP MAC clients supported on the Auto-sense enabled port:

   auto-sense eapol multihost mac-max <1-8192>

Example

Configure a maximum of 10 EAP and NEAP MAC clients supported on Auto-sense enabled ports.

Switch:1>enable
Switch:1#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
Switch:1(config)#auto-sense eapol multihost mac-max 10
