Configure the Syslog Output Format

Controls the format of the syslog output and logging. By default, the switch uses the RFC 5424 format. If the RFC-based format is disabled, an older format is used.

Procedure

  1. Enter Global Configuration mode:

    enable

    configure terminal

  2. Configure the output format:

    boot config flags syslog-rfc5424-format

  3. Save the changed configuration.
